Tina Rosa

Cambell Walker
Cambell has been performing on the stage all her life (her mother was a theatre director when she was growing up, so she was quite literally on the stage when she was seven months old). She began dancing at two and a half, and continued dancing with the Difranco Dance Project (in Pacific Grove) until she was eighteen. Cambell trained as a teacher's assistant from age thirteen to eighteen for Dianne Lyle, co-founder of the Difranco Dance Project. A lead instructor since 2023, Cambell specializes in Contemporary Afro-Jazz -- pulling from her training in Afro-Latin Jazz. Having studied vocalization growing up, and specifically choral music throughout high school, Cambell now serves as a lead vocalist in a local Santa Cruz band, Strawberry Pilgrimage. Throughout her life, Cambell has studied various techniques of acting, and is excited to share her knowledge and experience with her students at Los Arboles! She recently launched her own dance company, Fusion Dance Company, and will not only be directing the previously hosted musical theatre production, "The Rockin' Tale of Snow White," but will also be offering a student-choreographed dance production. As theatre is a process with many moving parts, Cambell is excited to offer stage crew positions to students as well to broaden the scope of offerings to students of all interests.
